Mount Tai (Taishan) and Qufu are both UNESCO World Heritage sites, both in Shandong, and 60km apart. This twin-city day tour starts in Tai'an: morning Mt. Tai cable car to the Heavenly Gate + Sun Worship Peak (sacred peak of all five Chinese sacred mountains, climbed by emperors for 2,500+ years). Afternoon: 30-minute HSR to Qufu, abbreviated visit to Confucius Temple + Kong Family Mansion, drop the Cemetery for time. Evening return to Tai'an. Includes round-trip Mt.
